FastFoks Grand Opening Via Prollyisnotprobably.com

Fast Folks Cyclery just moved to a super sweet location on East 6th Street, just a few pedals away from downtown Austin.

I'm really into Josh Rowe's bear of death.

The shop is getting stocked daily with new fixed-gear paraphernalia. You can see more amazing photos, and more info on the history of Austin's only Fixed-Gear bicycle shop at Prolly Is Not Probably, and FastFollks.com

Mix N' Mash Mexic Arte Style.

I was recently invited to take part in the Mexic Arte Museum's project Mix N"Mash. It's a great local institution that does a lot to help the local art scene, and local at-risk youth.

Mix 'n' Mash is an original concept by Mexic-Arte Museum, which refers not only to the mashing of genres into one work of art, but also to the mixing of work by various artists to create a unique collector's set.

Mexic-Arte Museum will invite over 200 local and regional artists to create works of art on 12” x 12” panels. The public may acquire one or more panels of artwork – ranging in all styles and media – and make their own diptych or triptych. The professional quality acid-free panels used by the artists are Gessobord™, made in Austin, Texas and were generously donated by Ampersand.

Visit their site to see the rest of the amazing artists that donated their time and talent.
